Dower Datech are making a few, subtle changes to our brand identity. As a family run business who have proudly served most Lincolnshire regions for 50 years, we felt that it was important to keep all our customers in the loop with how our business is evolving, no matter how small those changes may be.

Changing our name from Dower Datech to Dower Damp Proofing.
Dower Datech has and always will be a family run business. Since its beginnings in 1972, two generations have steered the business through thousands of projects to establish Dower Datech’s reputation for damp proofing excellence - and 2020 was the year for the third generation to take to the helm.
This transition in management felt like the perfect time for a bit of a brand refresh, hence the decision to change our name from Dower Datech to Dower Damp Proofing.
Why we’re changing our name to Dower Damp Proofing.
We are keen to protect our legacy of providing the best damp proofing services in the East Midlands, but at the same time want to acknowledge the progression and development of the business by modernising its appearance a little.
As our customers know, we pride ourselves on our honesty and openness, as well as the quality of our work as Damp Proofing and Timber specialists - so it only felt natural that our name should reflect that clarity and simplicity. And so ‘Dower Damp Proofing’ was born.
Will Dower Damp Proofing be any different to Dower Datech?
Whilst we are making some visual changes, our customers can rest assured that Dower Damp Proofing will be providing the same expert damp-proofing and timber treatment services Dower Datech always have. Similarly, our friendly, helpful and honest approach, as well as our keen eye for quality will continue to be in line with what people have come to expect from Dower Datech over the last 50 years.
Dower Datech; Re-Designing our Website.
In line with modernising our business, you will notice that the Dower Datech website has undergone somewhat of a facelift. Visitors to our website will now be greeted with a sleek, simple, and more modern-looking design - one which we hope will help our customers find what they are looking for with ease.
Our newly updated blog page is an excellent place to read up about common damp problems as well as how to diagnose the more common issues such as wood rot. And for those damp problems too big to prevent, our services section outlines everything that we offer in more detail.

Alongside our website refresh, we have also made some subtle changes to the Dower Datech logo. Not only have we incorporated our new business name - Dower Damp Proofing - but we have also revamped the appearance for a more modern market whilst still reflecting our original brand.
